The family of the late Chief Albert Onukwubiriuka Onuoha of Umuokorie Kindred, Ofeke Azueke, Ndume Ibeku in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State has announced the funeral arrangements for their revered matriarch, Ezinne Monica Nwadimkpa Onuoha (Daa Nwamkpa), née Ezebuiro, who passed on at the remarkable age of 104.

According to details released by the family, burial activities will commence on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, with a service of songs scheduled to hold at her residence in Umuokorie Ofeke, Ndume Ibeku by 4:00 p.m. This will be followed by a night of praise on Thursday, February 5, 2026, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Final funeral rites are slated for Friday, February 6, 2026. The body will depart City Gate Mortuary, Aba Road, at 8:00 a.m. for her father’s hometown, Ajata Mbarama, Agbama Olokoro in Umuahia South Local Government Area, before proceeding at 9:00 a.m. to her home compound in Umuokorie Ofeke, Ndume Ibeku for lying-in-state.

A funeral mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Ahiake, after which interment will follow. A reception will subsequently be held at Ahiake Primary School field along Ikot Ekpene Road, Umuahia.

The announcement, signed by Chief Ikechukwu Onuoha (Chief Oko) on behalf of the family, described the late matriarch as a woman of deep faith, strength, and enduring family values whose long life left a lasting legacy on her community.
