Senator Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, representing Kano South Senatorial District, has married his new bride, Flying Officer Hindatu Isah, in a modest wedding ceremony held in Rano Local Government Area of Kano State.
The bride, Hindatu, an officer with the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), hails from Rano. The ceremony took place at the residence of her father, Madakin Rano Ada’u Isah — a former lawmaker who once represented Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure Federal Constituency.
Dahiru Adda’u, a retired state permanent secretary, received the bride on behalf of the groom’s family, while Auwalu Rano, Chairman of A.A. Rano Group, also represented the groom’s family.
The marriage rites were conducted by Yusuf Sumaila, with a bride price of ₦500,000.
Among the dignitaries in attendance was Kabiru Alhassan, member of the House of Representatives for Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure Federal Constituency.
