The family of Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu) has announced the funeral arrangements for their beloved mother and matriarch, Dame Peace Onyekwulechi Igbokwe, who passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 60 after a brief illness.
In an official statement signed by Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, on behalf of the Igbokwe family and Don Media Group, the late Dame Igbokwe was described as a woman of “uncommon strength, dignity, and compassion” whose life was marked by service, faith, and dedication to humanity.
Until her passing, Dame Peace Igbokwe served as the Chief Executive Officer of Don Media Group and 2Flame Entertainment, where she played a key role in building the organizations into respected media and entertainment brands driven by integrity and purpose.
“Dame Peace lived a life anchored in generosity, humility, and service,” Mayor Igbokwe said. “Her light touched families, communities, and organizations. We honor her legacy and welcome everyone whose lives she impacted to join us in celebrating her remarkable journey.”

Service of Songs: Thursday, January 9, 2026
Burial Ceremony: Friday, January 10, 2026
Thanksgiving Service: Saturday, January 11, 2026
