“People’s Will Prevailed” — Gov. Otti Felicitates Soludo On Re-election

The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has felicitated with his Anambra State counterpart, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, following his resounding victory in the just-concluded gubernatorial election held across Anambra State.

In a congratulatory message issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, Governor Otti described Soludo’s landslide victory as a clear demonstration of the overwhelming confidence and trust the people of Anambra have in his leadership and developmental strides.

Governor Otti urged his Anambra colleague to view the victory as a renewed mandate to consolidate the gains recorded during his first tenure and further deepen the transformation agenda of his administration.

The Abia Governor also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a peaceful, transparent, and credible poll, noting that allowing citizens to freely choose their leaders remains the surest path to strengthening Nigeria’s democracy.

He further called on Governor Soludo to extend a hand of reconciliation to his opponents, stressing the need for inclusive governance and a united front towards the continued progress and development of Anambra State.

Governor Otti prayed for divine wisdom and greater success for Governor Soludo as he embarks on his second term in office.
