“God Wants To Use Trump To Reset Nigerian Leaders’ Brains” – Pastor Giwa

Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has declared that God intends to use former U.S. President Donald Trump as an instrument to correct and “reset” the mindset of Nigeria’s political leaders.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Pastor Giwa said Trump’s recent threat of military action against Nigeria over alleged tolerance of terrorism should not be seen as interference, but rather as a divine wake-up call for the nation’s leadership.

According to him, only those benefiting from insecurity and corruption would reject such an intervention.

“Nigerians are happy to welcome the United States’ military action following the persistent security challenges facing our country,” Pastor Giwa said.
“I am convinced that God wants to use President Donald Trump to reset the brains of our political leaders.”

The cleric lamented that Nigeria has endured years of unchecked corruption, insecurity, and poor governance, accusing successive leaders of failing to address the suffering of the masses.

“Over the years, Nigerians have been crying for help to no avail. Only those benefitting from terrorism will oppose Trump’s decision to confront Islamic extremists destroying Nigeria,” he added.

Giwa urged Trump not to be swayed by “propaganda and false campaigns” from individuals benefiting from Nigeria’s chaos, insisting that the country’s problems have festered due to leadership failure and moral decay.

He further blamed Nigeria’s founding leaders for pursuing independence from Britain “out of selfish ambition rather than genuine patriotism,” arguing that the nation was better governed under colonial rule than it is today.

“What is the essence of independence when the people suffer daily and the government cannot cater for their needs?” he asked. “Nigeria was a great nation under British rule, but those who fought for independence did so for selfish reasons. The painful truth is that today’s leaders live large at the expense of the poor masses.”

Pastor Giwa’s comments come amid escalating diplomatic tensions following Trump’s recent remarks accusing the Nigerian government of failing to protect Christians and threatening possible U.S. military intervention if the situation persists.
