The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers has produced its third female president in 63 years, Mrs. Ezeoma Ezeibe.

In a statement on Saturday, NCRIB, the umbrella body of all registered insurance brokers in Nigeria, announced that Ezeibe would be sworn in on October 24, 2025 in Lagos.

According to her profile, the incoming NCRIB president, Ezeibe, is an insurance lawyer and broker who previously served on the Council’s Governing Board, including as Vice President and Deputy President.

“Her rich knowledge of insurance law, integrity, and solid social capital will contribute to further solidifying the Council’s position at the forefront of Nigerian professions. She would also be building on her wide industry acceptance and contributions to all constituent arms, where she had been adding significant value over the years,” read part of the statement.
