2027: Prepare Your Will If You Plan To Write Election Results In Abia — Governor Otti Declares (VIDEO)

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has issued a stern warning to politicians allegedly plotting to manipulate the outcome of the 2027 governorship election, cautioning that such plans will meet divine and democratic resistance.

Speaking during the October edition of Governor Alex Otti Speaks To Abians held at the Government House, Umuahia, and streamed live on ABN TV’s YouTube Channel and Facebook page, the governor declared that only the will of God and the people will determine who governs Abia State in 2027.

“I have heard that some people around him say, ‘Oh, they must take over this state, they must write results,’ but the only advice I have for them is that if they truly want to write results, they should write something else before that time. You know what it is? Their will,” Otti stated.

ABN TV reports that Governor Otti was responding to a question regarding comments credited to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, who reportedly boasted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would take over Abia State in 2027.

Otti maintained that while every citizen reserves the constitutional right to contest, any attempt to subvert the people’s mandate through rigging or result manipulation would be met with consequences.

The governor’s remarks come amid early political manoeuvrings and realignments ahead of the 2027 governorship race.

Dr. Alex Otti, who contested under the Labour Party, ended over two decades of the Peoples Democratic Party’s rule in Abia after his historic victory in the 2023 election.
