21-Year-Old Disabled Girl With Autism Impregnated By Unknown Man In Port Harcourt (Photos, Video)

A heartbreaking story has emerged from Oyigbo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where a 21-year-old physically challenged young woman, identified as Adanma, has reportedly been impregnated by an unknown man.

ABN TV reports that Adanma, who suffers from autism spectrum disorder, is crippled, unable to walk, and can barely speak. According to her mother, the young woman’s condition made it impossible for her to defend herself or communicate what happened.

The distraught mother told reporters that she did not know when her daughter became pregnant, explaining that she only noticed physical changes before confirming the pregnancy. Sadly, she lamented that she cannot afford to register her daughter for antenatal care due to financial hardship.

“This girl can’t even move on her own, can’t talk clearly, and someone still had the heart to do this to her. I don’t even know when it happened,” the heartbroken mother cried.

Residents of the community have condemned the act, describing it as barbaric and inhumane, while calling on security agencies to launch a full investigation to bring the perpetrator to justice.

Meanwhile, the unidentified man alleged to have committed the crime is said to be walking freely within the community, while the helpless young woman battles both trauma and pregnancy-related pain.

This disturbing incident has sparked public outrage, with many Nigerians taking to social media to demand #JusticeForAdanma and calling on the government to strengthen laws protecting vulnerable persons from sexual abuse and exploitation.
