2027: I’ll Live In Abia For 5 Months, Campaigning Day, Night For Tinubu — Kalu (Video)

Former Abia State Governor and Senator representing Abia North, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win Abia State in the 2027 general elections.

Kalu remarked on an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, where he assured that he would personally lead an intensive grassroots campaign across the state ahead of the next polls.

“In Abia, for the first time, President Tinubu is going to win the state in 2027,” Kalu declared. “In 2023, I didn’t put in all my best, but in 2027, I will live there for five months, campaigning day and night.”

The former governor’s statement has generated political interest, as it signals a stronger push by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to expand its influence in the South East region.

Kalu, a key figure within the APC, said his renewed commitment to campaign extensively in Abia reflects his belief in President Tinubu’s leadership and developmental agenda for Nigeria.
