The Abia State Labour Party (LP) Caucus in the House of Representatives urged Kalu to use his national position to assist Abia in securing and executing federal projects instead of playing “cheap politics.”
They highlighted several federal projects facilitated under the Otti administration, including the Port Harcourt Road in Aba, Ohafia-Arochukwu Road, Omenuko Bridge, and the 25km Umuahia–Ikot Ekpene Road, which they described as proof of good governance and progress in the state.
“If the massive public endorsement of Governor Otti’s performance during the Aba flag-off, witnessed by Senator David Umahi representing the President, unsettles Hon. Kalu, that is no justification for mischief,” they warned.
