EFCC Declares Abia-born Emeka Ufomba Wanted For Alleged Public Funds Diversion, Money Laundering

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Emeka Ufomba wanted over alleged involvement in criminal conspiracy, diversion of public funds, stealing, and money laundering.

In a public notice released by the Commission, Ufomba, aged 49, is identified as an indigene of Abia State. His last known address was given as 13 Unity Drive, Eneka Paradise Estate, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

According to the EFCC, Ufomba has been evading investigation in connection with the alleged financial crimes. The Commission has called on members of the public with useful information about his whereabouts to come forward.

Information can be relayed to EFCC offices nationwide — including Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Kaduna, Ibadan, and other zonal commands. The Commission also provided a hotline 08093322644 and an email address [email protected] for direct contact.

The EFCC urged Nigerians to report to the nearest police station or security agency if they have any credible lead on his location, assuring that all information would be treated with strict confidentiality.
