The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Mr. Bayo Ojulari, officially resumed work on Monday, putting to rest widespread rumours about his alleged resignation.
Ojulari arrived at the NNPC headquarters around 9:35 a.m., where he immediately began attending to his official duties.
A senior security official confirmed to Vanguard that Ojulari was actively engaged in routine work and dismissed social media reports suggesting he had stepped down.
In response to the circulating claims, an internal memo was reportedly issued to NNPC staff, urging them to disregard the false information.
