The member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Comrade Prince Emeka Kalu, popularly known as Magic Fingers, on his emergence as the National President of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU).
In a congratulatory message issued on Tuesday, Hon. Osonwa described Prince Kalu’s victory at the just-concluded RATTAWU National Delegates Conference (NDC) in Gombe State as a well-deserved achievement, noting that it is a product of consistency, resilience, and integrity.
The federal lawmaker commended the media icon for staying true to his principles throughout his campaign, saying it is heartening to witness the fruition of his hard work and vision.
“It is good to see the journey to fruition — your campaign and ultimate victory. Your determination and refusal to compromise on your values is deeply admirable. You have made the people of Ohafia, Abia State, and indeed the entire media community proud,” Hon. Osonwa said.
He expressed confidence that Prince Emeka Kalu will bring his wealth of experience, leadership qualities, and media expertise to bear in repositioning RATTAWU for the benefit of all members across Nigeria.
While wishing the new national president a successful tenure, Hon. Osonwa assured him of his continuous support and collaboration in efforts to promote media professionalism, workers’ rights, and industry growth.
