2027: Niger Delta Group Supports Tinubu, Oborevwori Re-election Bid

The Forum of Political Leaders of Itsekiri Extraction within the All Progressives Congress has endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as the sole candidates for the 2027 general elections.

He said the 2027 general election will be an easy sail for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress in the region.

The convener of the group, Chief Ayirimi Emami, made the assertion in Warri, Delta State, on Monday shortly after a “unity meeting” of the group in Delta State.

He described “the outcome of the ‘unity meeting’ as a thing of joy.”

According to him, “Since the past eleven years or thereabouts, we haven’t had the opportunity of coming together like this, eyeball to eyeball, under the same political platform as it affects our ethnic nationality.

“It is a thing of joy that everyone in this federal constituency is now within the same APC as a political family. Today, we are all together.

“This simply guarantees that, by the grace of God, the next election will be an easy sailing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC in the Federal Constituency.
