The Ogbuh family has confirmed the tragic passing of their beloved matriarch, Mrs. Ogbuh Margaret, who had been missing since May 13, 2025. After weeks of uncertainty and intensive search efforts, her remains were recently discovered in Nsukka, Enugu State, by good Samaritans—bringing to an end a painful chapter for the family and community.
ABN TV investigation reveals that the late Mrs. Ogbuh fell victim to a hit-and-run driver at Opi Market, Nsukka.
Speaking to ABN TV on Thursday morning, one of her sons disclosed that after extensive efforts to locate her, police examined the contents of her bag and found a piece of paper listing items she intended to buy at the market. The absence of a mobile phone with her at the time sadly hampered communication and early tracking of her whereabouts.
“While this news brings closure to the anguish of not knowing her fate, it also marks the beginning of mourning and remembrance,” the family said in a public announcement signed by Ik Ogbuh ProfArt. They described Mrs. Ogbuh as a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with everyone around her.
The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to those who supported them through prayers, search efforts, and emotional encouragement during the difficult period.
