Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has said that political leaders coming together to form the anti-Tinubu coalition are all focused on one target.
According to El-Rufai, Nigeria is targeted for destruction by a collection of urban bandits.
El-Rufai stated this during an interview on Arise News on Monday evening, saying he feels quite empowered and encouraged by the attitude of the leadership.
The former minister of the Federal Capital Territory said that no one among the leaders of the coalition is talking about his aspiration, at least for now.
He said, “Well, I’m sure they would [talk about aspiration later]. I mean, we are politicians; we are students of power.
“So yes, they will do that, but nobody is talking about, ‘I want to be the president or, you know, leave this for me’ and so on.
