Nigerian international and AC Milan forward, Samuel Chukwueze, has once again brought excitement to his hometown in Abia State as he officially kicks off the 4th edition of the Samuel Chukwueze All Stars Champions League.
The tournament, which began on Sunday, June 15, will run through Saturday, June 22, 2025, at UGBA Primary School Field, with daily kick-off at 3:00 PM.
The grassroots football event, which has gained popularity across Umuahia North Local Government Area and beyond, brings together talented teams from various communities, competing for glory in a spirited and unifying atmosphere.

A total of eight teams, divided into two groups, are participating in the tournament:
Group A: Atuoma FC, CAC All Stars, Isieke All Stars, Emmirate FC
Group B: AC Milan, Amuzukwu All Stars, IPOD FC, UCHA FC
The match schedule, released by the Local Organizing Committee, features a round-robin format leading up to the semi-finals on June 21 and the grand finale on June 22.
In a major development, all matches will be officially streamed live on ABN TV’s social media platforms, allowing fans across the globe to follow the action in real time.

“I’ve never wanted attention for helping people. I give because I know where I came from. I know what it means to struggle. My goal is to uplift, quietly but effectively,” he said.
Chukwueze, who hails from Okoko Item in Bende LGA, has consistently supported various causes in his community, from youth development to economic empowerment. Though he rarely publicizes his donations and outreach efforts, those close to him acknowledge his generosity and deep connection to his roots.
“Football gave me a platform, but it’s the people that made me who I am,” he added.
