Officials of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), under the direction of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, have sealed the national headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja.
At precisely 2:06 p.m. on Monday, FCTA staff locked the entrance to Wadata Plaza, the PDP’s national secretariat located in Wuse Zone 5.
The move comes on the heels of the FCTA’s recent announcement to reclaim properties affected by the revocation of 4,794 land titles due to the non-payment of ground rent, with some arrears dating back between 10 and 43 years.
The PDP headquarters is among several high-profile properties targeted in the sweeping enforcement action.
