Liverpool star Mohamed Salah believes he is in the strongest position of his career to win the prestigious Ballon d’Or, following a standout season with the Premier League champions.

The 32-year-old Egyptian forward has delivered an exceptional campaign, tallying 28 goals and 18 assists so far. His performance has not only been instrumental in helping Liverpool lift the Premier League title but has also placed him at the top of the Golden Boot race.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Salah expressed confidence in his chances of winning the award:

“I would say I never had a season like this and winning big trophies.

So I would say this is my best chance to get it right now while I’m in the club because it’s been a crazy year, a crazy season with a trophy,” he said.

The winner of the 2025 Ballon d’Or will be announced on September 22, and Salah remains one of the frontrunners. However, he faces stiff competition from Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembélé and Barcelona’s rising star Lamine Yamal.
