The Ekelenye Nwagbara family of Umuagu Umuhu, in Ohuhu, Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State, has announced the burial arrangements for their late patriarch, High Chief Emmanuel Ubadire Ekelenye Nwagbara, popularly known as Enyioha, who passed away at the age of 85.

According to a statement released by the family, funeral activities will commence on Friday, 23rd May 2025, with a Wake Keep at his country home in Umuagu by 5:00 PM.

The main burial ceremony will take place on Saturday, 24th May 2025. The day will begin with a Lying-in-State at his compound by 8:00 AM, followed by a Commendation Service at 10:00 AM at the All Saints Methodist Church Nigeria, Umuagu, Ohuhu, Umuahia North LGA. Interment will follow immediately after the service at his residence.

A Thanksgiving Service is scheduled for Sunday, 25th May 2025, also in Umuagu, to round off the burial rites.

High Chief Emmanuel Nwagbara, a highly respected elder and community leader, was known for his generosity, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to family and community development. He played vital roles in communal affairs and was widely regarded as a bridge-builder and a man of peace.
