VIDEO: “Abure Is Just Masturbating” — Gov. Otti Slams Labour Party National Chairman

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has taken a swipe at the embattled National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure, describing his continued claim to the party’s leadership as baseless and self-serving.

Speaking during an interview on Arise Television, Governor Otti boldly declared that the authentic control of the Labour Party has been retrieved from Abure and his camp through legal means, including a Supreme Court judgment which, he insists, affirms the current leadership backed by Otti and other stakeholders.

“The issue is that the party that brought me to power is Labour. And today, we have fought and retrieved the Labour Party,” Governor Otti said.

He further added, “I said I will send you the Supreme Court judgment. So when you finish with it, you will know that Abure is just masturbating.”

The Governor’s remark was in response to questions about the internal crisis plaguing the Labour Party and claims by Abure that he remains the party’s national leader. Otti dismissed such claims, insisting they hold no legal or political weight.

Reacting to comments on his history of switching political platforms—from the PDP to APC and eventually to Labour Party—Otti maintained that his past affiliations were irrelevant in the face of current realities.

“Yes, I moved around, but that is not the issue. The real issue is that the Labour Party is now back in the hands of those who believe in justice, transparency, and true leadership,” he said.

Governor Otti’s outburst underscores deepening tensions within the Labour Party, which continues to face internal power struggles and legal battles as it prepares for future elections.
