As Senator Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu marks his 65th birthday today, prominent philanthropist and political figure, Rtn. Chief Hon. Fred Eke Idika, JP, popularly known as Ekwueme Ohafia, has joined millions of Nigerians and admirers around the world to celebrate the elder statesman.
In a goodwill message released on Monday, Chief Idika described Senator Kalu as a “great, gifted leader” and the “Mandela of Ndi Igbo extraction,” praising his impactful life of resilience, leadership, and democratic legacy.
“There is no better time to celebrate you than this period of amazing grace of God’s love upon your life—marking your 65th birthday in a historic way,” Idika stated.
Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu is a former Governor of Abia State and currently the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District. He also served as the Senate Chief Whip and is widely respected for his contributions to national development and unity.
