IPMAN National President, Abubakar Garima, has disclosed that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited is owing almost N15 billion.

Garima stated this on Thursday while fielding questions on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief program.

Roughly now, they are owing us (IPMAN) getting to N15 billion,” Garima replied, when asked how much NNPCL is owing the association.

The statement comes after NNPCL jerked up the pump price of Petroleum Motor Spirit, PMS, also known as petrol, to N1,030 per litre.

The development was observed by our correspondent at some NNPCL outlets in Abuja on Wednesday.

Many Nigerians have condemned the latest fuel price hike.
