The Commandant, Nigeria Security, and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Kaduna Command, CC Idris Yahaya Adah, on Thursday, decorated 101 promoted officers, urging them to use the privilege granted to them to contribute positively to the growth of the Corps.

A statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Habeeb Badamsi, said the Commandant, Idris Yahaya Adah gave the charge at the decoration of officers at NSCDC state headquarters, Kaduna.

He said, ”To whom much is given, much is expected”, admonishing the officers to continue making the corps proud through hard work and dedication.

While appealing to those who were not opportune to be promoted to exercise patience and wait for God’s time, he equally advised them not to relent but continue to make the command proud of their good performances.

In his goodwill message, the Zonal Commander, of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, ‘Zone B’ Muhammed Lawal Haruna congratulated all the decorated officers and noted that promotion is based on the availability of vacancies.

He said the Corps CG is ensuring that junior officers are not promoted ahead of their seniors.

He noted that the Commandant General is much concerned about the welfare of personnel and is working hard to ensure that the personnel get what is due to them.
