Bashir Ahmad, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant on Digital Communication, has criticized Labour Party presidential contender Peter Obi over his latest remark.
Obi had insisted on becoming Nigeria’s President.
Obi, who is disputing President-elect Bola Tinubu’s election in court, said he is confident in his spirit that he will be President.
He spoke during the launch of a book titled ‘Peter Obi: Many Voices, One Perspective’ in Awka, Anambra State.
In response, Ahmad labeled the LP flagbearer as “daddy’s favorite son” who aspires to be president.
Tweeting, Ahmad wrote: “So, Daddy’s favorite son insisted that he MUST be the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We wish him sweet dreams.”
