Abia PDP Campaign Council Breaks Silence On Prof. Ikonne’s Whereabouts [VIDEO]

The Abia State PDP governorship Campaign Council, Uche Ndi Abia has finally broken its silence on the whereabouts of Prof. Uche Ikonne, the party’s governorship candidate which in recent times has been an issue of interest in the state.

Speaking on ABN TV’s Political Perspective on Friday, the Director of Media/Publicity Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Organization, Chief Uche Aguoru said Prof. Ikonne is on vacation, taking a “well deserve rest”.

He dismissed insinuations of the governorship candidate’s health, saying he is very healthy and will join Abians shortly during the Christmas celebration.

He insisted that the ruling PDP has done well in the current administration while admitting that there are some areas that need improvements.

He said his principal is the very first person that started campaigning in the state and has gone round the 17 LGA’s in the state.

Chief Aguoru further stated that it is a total misinformation to say that his principal is a makeup of the Ukwa and Ngwa political blocs, saying his candidacy is in line with the Abia Charter of Equity which comprises different zones like Isikwato down to Umuahia adding that people should be properly guided and not misinformed.

He said the Abia State PDP governorship candidate will improve on the security, infrastructure, Economy, and other sectors for the development of the state.
