Minority Leader of Abia State House of Assembly and the member representing Bende North constituency, Hon. Chijioke Chukwu has congratulated the Senator representing Abia North, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu as he marks 62nd birthday, describing him as strong and agile.
Hon. Chukwu in a birthday message on Thursday said Sen. Kalu is a mentor and a source of direction to many who look up to him as a model and good example.
While praying God to continue to endow the former Abia governor with more wisdom to serve his constituency, state and the continue even more effectively, the lawmaker urged Nigerians to look towards the direction of Sen. Kalu for the country’s next president.
“Anything he lays his hand on prospers so we urge Nigerians irrespective of political differences to support him.
“I also call on our party, the APC to look inwards for someone like Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu and consider him for Presidency.
“I don’t want him to seek Presidency in an atmosphere of uncertainty. I support micro zoning.
“If Nigerians want the country to move forward, they should not only micro zone the presidency to the south east, they should zone it down to Abia. Anything short of that, I would not encourage him to contest for Presidency,” he said.
He therefore wished Sen Kalu good health and divine guidance in his service to the nation.
