Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/South federal constituency, Rep. Sam Onuigbo has commiserated with the family of elder statesman, Ezeogo (Dr.) Anagha Ezeikpe over the death of the patriarch.
Describing the passing of the statesman as a big loss to Abia state, the federal lawmaker said the deceased as one of the founding fathers of the state was a visionary leader who motivated him to run for political office during their interaction at the occasion of “Abia at 21”.
He expressed sadness that the elder statesman left when his wise counseling and wealth of experience was needed most.
Rep. Onuigbo stated that even though Ezeogo Ezikpe had left, Abians and Nigerians will always be grateful to him for the remarkable impact he made in the field of health, as he established one of the first privately owned specialist hospitals in Abia State— Aloma Specialist Hospital, Umuahia.
He prayed God to grant the family and Abians fortitude to bear the loss.
