Governor of Imo state, Sen. Hope Uzodinma has received an indigent student from Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of the state, Confidence Chinaza Nwozuzu who made 9As in her 2020 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE).
The governor also directed the Commissioner in charge of Ministry of Education to forthwith ensure Imo State sponsorship of Miss Chinaza through her educational career to the desired level.
In a social media post, on Thursday the governor expressed the readiness of his administration tol continue to recognize and encourage Imolites that bring honour to the State by distinguishing themselves in most remarkable ways.
He said, “In acknowledgement of this meritorious performance, I have directed the Honourable Commissioner for Education to forthwith ensure Imo State sponsorship of Miss Chinaza through her educational career to the desired level.
