Radio Biafra broadcaster, Simon Ekpa has called for the immediate resignation of all the South-East governors, urging them to handover power to Biafrans or expect what happened in Afghanistan to happen in the South-East and Nigeria generally.

ABN TV recalls that the Taliban terrorist group had taken over power in Afghanistan after arriving in the capital, Kabul on Sunday, few hours after the country’s President fled.

While insisting that Biafrans will not allow that to happen in the region, Ekpa took a swipe at the governor’s, describing them as a failure for losing control of the people.

While adding that the spirit of Biafra has possessed all Biafrans, Ekpa said nobody will protect the land better than the Biafrans themselves, calling on the governors to immediately quit office.

“All the governors (Southeast) must understand that the people are no longer with them. And they cannot continue to govern the people they cannot control.

“The only people that control Biafra now are the Biafra people themselves. The Indigenous People of Biafra under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has proven to the world that they are the only ones Biafrans listen to.

“They (IPOB) are the only ones the people have come to identify with that can lead them to freedom. And they are going to freedom from Nigeria.

“If something is not done, what is happening in Afghanistan today is what will happen in Nigeria. We are not going to allow that to happen. Governors must sit up now, resign and abdicate their responsibility and position in their various states. Otherwise, what is coming to them, we are on autopilot of the struggle” he said in a broadcast monitored by ABN TV.

He further announced that this is just the beginning of a media onslaught against the governors, mounting pressure of them to quit.

According to Ekpa, the governors have lost the legitimacy and moral right to remain in office because of the failure they have allegedly recorded.
