The National Examinations Council (NECO) has a new Registrar and Chief Executive Officer.
He is Professor Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi.
Wushishi’s appointment was approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to a letter dated July 16, 2021 with reference No: FME/PSE/NECO/1078/C.1/36 by Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, the appointment, which is for an initial tenure of five years, takes effect from 12th July 2021.

Until he was appointed Registrar/Chief Executive of NECO, Wushishi was a Professor of Science Education (Chemistry) at the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
The new Registrar was born on 5th April 1965 and hails from Wushishi Local Government Area of Niger State.
The new registrar now replace Professor Godswill Obioma from Abia State, who died a few months ago in Abuja.
