In Abia we prioritize economically important roads and Immaculate Heart Road is one of them.

“This road leads to Umungasi market and also leads to a cluster of resident areas in the city where our people do business and we think that we can stretch this road all the way across the waterside river and do another bridge that will head to Ogbor Hill while a spot from here will also lead to Star Paper Mill” he remarked.

While also revealing that the state Government will ensure the completion of Omuma and Ngwa Roads which he described as key roads in Aba, the Commissioner told the gathering that additional 250 kilometer roads will be delivered to rural communities in the state.

The Commissioner also commended the contractor for delivering a good quality job, urging residents to avoid indiscriminate waste disposal on the drainages to enhance the durability of the project.
