Sanchez Set To Return To Barcelona In January

Barcelona will look to resign Alexis Sanchez from Inter Milan during the January transfer window.

Sanchez has rarely made an appearance for the Serie A champions this season with two goals and two assists to his name.

The Italian giants are allegedly prepared to part ways with the Chile international, a scenario which has seemingly led to Barcelona coming to the negotiating table.

According to Sport, the Catalan outfit are keen on bringing in Sanchez in January, as well as allowing Luuk de Jong to move in the opposite direction.

Despite the Netherlands international playing the full 90 minutes against Osasuna on Sunday, newly-appointed Xavi is likely to be in favour of a reunion with one of his former teammates.

Much could depend on whether a deal can also be negotiated with Sevilla, with Barcelona loanee De Jong still being contracted to the La Liga side.
