Sen. Kalu Meets Former President Abdulsalami Abubakar In Minna

The Chief Whip of the Senate , Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on Thursday visited the residence of the former President of Nigeria, General Abdulsalami Abubakar in Minna, Niger State capital.

Senator Kalu, representing Abia North in Senate was ushered into Abdulsami’s residence,where he was received by General Abdulsami Abubakar himself. .Kalu and Abubakar later proceeded for an indoor meeting which lasted over an hour.

Recall that the Chief Whip of the Senate earlier earlier on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello and a private visit to his boss, former military President, General Ibrahim Badomosi Babangida after which he proceeded to General Abdulsalami’s residence.

Kalu, arrived the power state at exactly 11:30 am alongside President of Belema Oil, Engr Jack Rich ; The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency FERMA, Hon. Femi Bamisile, former Chief of Staff to Abia State Government, Hon Mascot Uzor Kalu, other associates and his aides.

Details of meeting with General Abdulsalami yet to be disclosed
